We took the bus to Fort Frederik Beach and had the place to ourselves. When there is not a cruise ship in, Frederiksted is a ghost town. The first beach to the north of the pier is Fort Frederik Beach, also known as Frederiksted Beach. We found a place in the shade to put our chairs. We snorkeled along the rocks near shore. There were fish, but nothing spectacular.
